The executives of the GGSS met with the new Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Todd Hennessy. During the meeting, the executives shared the plans and vision of the GGSS, as well as key concerns and issues currently facing graduate students.

Dr. Hennessy assured the team of his support and committed to engaging with the relevant stakeholders to address these concerns. We are grateful for his time and presence and wish him every success in his new role.

Today, the executives of the Grenfell Graduate Student Society (GGSS) met with the President of Memorial University, Dr. Morrison. The discussion focused on recent leadership changes at the Grenfell Campus and what these developments mean for graduate students. It was a pleasure meeting with Dr. Morrison, and we look forward to a positive and collaborative path forward for the graduate student community.

In the spirit of Christmas, members of the GGSS executive presented Graduate Programs Officer, Nadia Simmons, with a holiday gift. Nadia has been incredibly supportive of graduate students throughout the year, and we are deeply thankful for her dedication, guidance, and expertise in assisting and advocating for our graduate community. This small token of appreciation is a heartfelt thank you for the impact she continues to make. We wish her a joyful holiday season and a wonderful year ahead. 🎄✨
