Hodder FSL - Virtual Reading and Conversation classes Reading and Conversation Classes for Primary French Immersion students Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie Hodder. I have been teaching for 15 years.

I teach Grade 2 French Immersion in Corner Brook, NL. I hold a B.Ed with a French Focus from Memorial University as well as a M.Ed in Literacy from Mount Saint Vincent University. I have varied interests in the education field, including technology in the classroom, coding, maker space development, and STEM. I am also heavily involved with implementing and helping others to implement Science of Reading and Structured Literacy approaches in their French Immersion classrooms. I have started Hodder FSL as a way to use my understanding of Science of Reading practices to provide students from across NL additional opportunities for reading and conversation practice outside of the classroom. I am a 2022 recipient of The Premier's Award for Teaching Innovation which I am so honoured to have received!
