We are so proud of our graduates who crossed the stage at last night’s ceremony. Your hard work, dedication, and courage brought you to this moment, and it was an honour to celebrate with you, your family, and your friends. Congratulations to each of you on this milestone. We cannot wait to see what you do next.

Today is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. On this day, we celebrate the many cultures, languages, and traditions that make our communities strong. We learn from each other, share our stories, and show respect for our different backgrounds.
There are many simple ways to take part. You can try a food from another culture, listen to music from around the world, learn a greeting in a new language, or share something special from your own culture.
How do you plan to celebrate today?

Our LINC 3 – 8 students had a wonderful experience at the Creative HeARTS workshop earlier in April at Place des Arts. The workshop was led by instructor Maggie C. and arranged with care by Kim C., Exhibits and Events Manager at PdA.
It was a privilege for our LINC students to be invited to take part in this partnership. We are grateful to Place des Arts for making this meaningful art workshop possible.
Our students shared many thoughtful reflections about their experience:
“The Field trip was interesting. I learned new things with Maggie C.”
“I had a new experience through the art activity. I’d like to go again with my children.”
“I enjoyed the experience with different colours we can observe in nature. I liked learning how to breathe in and out by drawing or creating lines."
Thank you to Place des Arts, Maggie, and Kim for creating such a memorable day of learning, creativity, and connection.

This week is Mental Health Week in Canada, from May 4 to 10. The theme is Come Together, Canada, which reminds us that connection helps our mental health. Even small actions: saying hello, checking in with someone, or spending a few minutes together, can help people feel less alone.
You can learn more, explore activities, and find helpful resources on the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) website:
