Inquiry Hub Secondary School - Coquitlam

Grade 9’s and 10’s had a chance to learn cedar weaving from guest educators from . We learned about cedar harvesting and its many uses and traditions.

Throwback to a few weeks ago when we came together to watch our final collaborative culmination of Macbeth: a cross-grade, interdisciplinary project that has become a tradition+legend at Inquiry Hub! Each group was responsible for producing one section of the play, and we put them all together in an hour-long movie that we watch as a school. We also celebrate with popcorn and film awards. 🍿🎥🎭

Last week our senior students participated in, and received certification for, Basic First Aid. They worked through many scenarios including administering CPR, using an AED, treating wounds, assessing vital signs and more. Skills that we all need!

Nothing like starting the weekend with some board game fun! Students of all grades (+ an alumni) get together on Tuesdays and Fridays after school to play .

Inquiry Hub is holding a bottle drive over the winter break, and into January! The easiest way for you to contribute is:
1. Collect cans, bottles, juice boxes, and other beverage containers 
2. Place in a clear/transparent bag (up to 90 litres) - max of 12 glass containers to prevent breakage
3. Bring it to a Return-It Express location closest to you https://www.return-it.ca/locations/metro-vancouver/ 
4. Use the school’s phone number 604-936-4285 to print out a label
5. Put the label on the bag and leave it in the drop-off area
That’s it! No lineups, no counting containers, no waiting. 😊
