Directions

Open Road Tutoring Open Road Tutoring is a Comox Valley education service operated by David Merrick, an experienced and certified middle and high school English teacher.

Open Road Tutoring provides in-depth instruction to middle and high-school students looking to improve their English and Humanities skill set. In addition, I specialize in senior English composition and exam prep, both of which are often key focuses for students transitioning to post-secondary education or simply looking to find success in their senior year. As an educator, I have taught language arts, humanities, social studies, history, distributed education, first peoples studies and planning in both contractual roles and temporary positions. I am fully certified and licensed with the British Columbia Ministry of Education.
