Are finances preventing you from returning to your studies? Our Academic and Career Preparation courses are FREE.
Eligible ACP learners may also qualify to receive additional funds to subsidize costs that help them return to class. We may be able to subsidize the cost of mileage, transit passes and licensed childcare. Parking at our Collingwood and Wasaga Beach sites is FREE as well.

While Georgian made the difficult decision to temporarily pause full-time postsecondary programming at the John Di Poce South Georgian Bay Campus effective Sept. 1, 2025, Academic and Career Preparation programs continue to run on campus and at the Wasaga Beach site as usual. These offerings remain an important part of our commitment to Collingwood and the surrounding communities.

This course will help you develop skills to work in the food service industry. This course is delivered online only.
Learn about food safety, infection prevention and control, responsible service, customer experience, WHMIS PLUS earn provincially recognized certifications: Smart Serve and Safe Food Handler.
You must be registered with either TRACKS Employment in Collingwood or FOCUS Employment in Wasaga Beach and be referred into us. You must also reside in our local catchment area of Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Clearview or Thornbury.
