That’s a wrap on uOttawa 2026! 🌿🩺

Last week, 49 first-year medical students from packed their bags and headed to rural Ontario to experience what rural medicine is all about…and what a week it was!

Across 17 rural communities, uOttawa students had the chance to shadow incredible physicians, roll up their sleeves for hands-on clinical skills, and get a taste of life in a rural community!
