More winter beauty. The shorline at Killbear park is something else and the icelace is increadible too.

When we grow up we tend to look at things from a 'done that seen that' attitude. Since everything is always changing. How about we look at life from the eyes of a child. I promise the magic and beauty will start revealing itself to you.

I continue to be in awe of the beauty that came through this painting I did. How can something so beautiful express itself in this way that is filled with so much symbolism.

I see the Divine Feminine, a compassionate being inside what looks like a face split in two.
The Divine Feminine is in all of us.
It is the light within each of us.

Here is a quote from ACIM text that i read this morning. It seams very fitting.

"Inspiration is the opposite of dispiriting and therefore means to make joyous. The dispirited are depressed because they believe that they are literally "without the Spirit," which is an illusion."

When you practice gratitude, what does it feel like? What images flood your visual mind?

This week when I tapped into gratitude my mind filled with my art. The expansive feeling in my chest, the awe I feel when I walk into my studio and see the incredible beauty of merging colours displayed in the most equisit way. I am always amazed at the deep messages from beyond.

I believe creative outlets bring us closer to our divine self.

Do you have control issues?

My being controlling was actually a cover up. I realized that my desire to control was really a desire to 'protect myself, look good, get it right, avoid rejection, etc.'. I was afraid of uncertainty and allowing things to flow felt uneasy.

Working with others really opened my eyes to how things can come together in an effortless way. I discovered ACCEPTANCE of other ways, TRUST in how things play out, and LETTING GO that I am responsible for everyone or everything to go a certain way. That was a big realization for me.

I recently started a new form of Art Communication. It is nudging me in deep feelings of SURRENDERING and ALLOWING the process to unfold.

I get to choose the colors and then I let the paints do their work. It is all new to me and I am relishing in this experience.

Control is needed in some areas of life. However, the control that arrises from my fears became windows of opportunities into greater self understanding and self awareness.
