Hey everyone, we are offloading our Mosaic 51 with 12k resolution. It is an amazing commercial grade system made by . has been performing mobile LiDAR scan for 6 years now and the Mosaic 51 was intended for us to be a tool that merged with our scanning. The last two year we have tried to meld these two datasets but have had nothing but issue so, we have decided to let it go. If you or someone you know does google street view mapping or is looking for 12k 360 images this camera is stellar at that.

The lack of snow this December allowed us to execute critical and jobs in Kamloops' Tranquille River area. In just under 6 hours, we mapped over 247 acres with a LiDAR point cloud density over 1000 points per meter square and an Ortho image with a GSD of 1.5cm! The accuracy was 3.9cm RSME as well! This was a great opportunity for us to complete some important projects for both government and private groups before the snow shut the door on 2023's mapping season.

Drones are awesome! But in case not all of us are aware, when a wildfire occurs, it instantly becomes restricted airspace for a 5 mile radius up to 3000ft.

That means no aircraft, of any kind, that are not part of the firefighting operations.

The view from the lodge we are staying at this morning is awe inspiring. This week we get to work in a remote valley west of Williams Lake on a 30 kilometres right of way and GPR (ground penetrating radar) job. The office never looked so good.

Some days the weather just opens up and being a drone pilot flying mapping a area just could not get better. We are grateful that doing this is beneficial enough to firms and companies that we can call it our day job.
