This is what Thanksgiving looks like in our home. Nothing fancy. Just good food, family, friends, laughter and people enjoying each other’s company.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how perfect everything looks. It’s about being surrounded by people who make you feel loved, welcomed and like you belong. ❤️

In this environment, you won’t find real cell phones, tablets, or social-media devices being offered as play materials. Instead, I love giving children old-school treasures like cameras, rotary phones, boxes and other real-life materials from a simpler time.

Why? Because the best connections happen when there’s no Wi-Fi required. 😉❤️

🚒🔥 CL Fire Prevention Week Oct 5th-11th🔥🚒

This week is a great opportunity to talk with our littles about fire safety and the important role our local firefighters and rescue crews play in keeping our community safe.

We’re throwing it back to this very special day when one of our childcare parents stopped by with the fire truck to give the children an up-close look! 🚒❤️

On Tuesday the 6th check out our local fire rescue stations and meet the people behind the uniforms.🧑🏻‍🚒

Choosing childcare is a big decision. ❤️

And the truth is, the childcare industry can sometimes feel incredibly competitive and even a little cutthroat. There are endless policies, ever-changing regulations, unrealistic expectations, tons of opinions, and constant criticism and judgment about what childcare should look like.

But I’ve always believed there is room for all of us.💛💛

Every educator, day home and childcare program has something different to offer, just as every family has different needs, values, expectations and priorities.

I don’t need to be the right educator for every family and honestly, I don’t want to be or believe any program should try to be.

What matters most is that parents find THEIR right fit. A person they trust. A environment where they feel comfortable leaving their child. A place where their child feels safe, loved, understood and supported. And care aligns with what matters most to their family.

Sometimes that place will be mine, and sometimes it won’t be, and I’m okay with that because I know there are lots of incredible Educators out there.👇🙌🫶

At the end of the day, we’re all working toward something pretty important: children being cared for by people who genuinely care about them, and families feeling confident in the care they choose.🤗
