🧵 It’s so good to be back sewing!

After the summer holidays, I was amazed at how much my returning children remembered. ❤️

They came back excited, confident and ready to sew — almost as though we had never taken a break!

Very happy children in Bonnyville sewing class. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of the second class, they didn’t want to go home. It was so much fun sewing with their friends and making new friends.

Just how much can our Halloween treat bag hold? 🎃👻

I decided to put it to the test!

🍫 50 small chocolate bars
🥔 10 bags of chips
🍊 3 oranges
🍎 2 apples
🪨 And yes… one BIG rock! 😂

I think we can safely say there will be plenty of room for Halloween treats! 🍬🍫🎃

The children are going to have so much fun sewing these bags! 🧵👻

Most of you who have been to my sewing studio know that I have tons of fabric. 🧵😂

But last night, of all things, I had a nightmare about these little pieces of fabric!

Why, oh why, they decided to haunt my dreams, I have absolutely no idea. 🤣 The children were sewing so fast that I couldn’t keep up and they were using this fabric.

Apparently, I now even teach sewing in my sleep! 😂

I have a question for the parents: We are making Halloween bags in the Fall. Which ones are the best: a bag with straps or the pillowcase one that they throw over their shoulder?
