Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures in our school community!

Today, we celebrate the important role you play in the lives of our students. Thank you for your love, guidance, encouragement, and support. The time you spend teaching, cheering on, and caring for your children helps shape their confidence, character, and future.

Last Thursday’s "Tattoo a Teacher" fundraiser was a massive success! Thanks to your incredible support, generosity, and school spirit, we raised a grand total of $912! 💰 Every single dollar raised goes directly toward funding our STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). This money will provide our students with hands-on learning tools, innovative projects, and creative resources for the upcoming school year. 🧪🎨🤖 A huge shoutout to our brave teachers who volunteered to get inked for a great cause, and to everyone who donated and volunteered their time to help out with this event! You rock! 🙌

Mrs. Varughese's cosmetology class had a fantastic, informative trip to Shoppers Drug Mart! 👀 The beauty manager analyzed each student’s skin using their new analysis tool and recommended personalized products based on their needs. Next, the pharmacist gave a great presentation on how nutrition and vitamins affect our skin. To top it all off, refreshments were provided and each student went home with their own sample kit! We wrapped up the day with a tour of the beauty section to check out some age-appropriate products for future shopping trips. 😎

Our friend Kaleb took the stage and completely wowed the entire 1-2F class with an incredible live magic performance! Genius Hour is all about letting students explore their passions, and Kaleb’s dedication to learning his craft truly shined through today. We might just have a future world-famous magician in our midst! 🐇🔮

Way to go, Kaleb! We are so proud of your hard work and confidence!

Our last day of school is now Wednesday, June 24! 😎

As part of the Grade 4E space unit, students explored the wonders of the night sky by learning about constellations and the stories behind them. ✨ They then used watercolours to create beautiful celestial artworks, blending creativity with science. The finished showcase unique designs, and a growing appreciation for the stars above. The art work is on display for all to see! Great work, 4E!! 😎

Some of our classes had the wonderful opportunity to take part in hide tanning activity with our friends from Cold Lake First Nations. 😎 Thank you for coming to spend time with our students, sharing your knowledge, and teaching them about this important traditional practice! We are so grateful for this amazing partnership! 🥰
