Bow Valley High School music students take the stage Thursday at 7 p.m. for the 26th Annual Black & White Night Concert.

The year-end showcase will feature performances from the BVHS Choir, Concert Band and Symphonic Band, while also recognizing student achievement through annual music awards and celebrating the school's graduating Grade 12 musicians.

Experience a musical journey through landscapes both ancient and imagined. Echoes of the World celebrates the beauty, traditions, stories, and spirit that connect us across cultures and generations. Each performance offers a unique voice inspired by nature, ceremony, myth, and place.

This special evening also includes:

• 50/50 Raffle
• Bottle Drop-Off Fundraiser with a VIP Ticket Draw
• Donations for the Activettes Food Bank are always welcome

What an incredibly fun week of music for BVHS! Both our Concert Band and our Symphonic Band performed phenomenally well at the Alberta Band Association’s ‘Provincial Festival of Bands’ this year! Both ensembles had incredible fun and both have earned a SUPERIOR award! Another two invitations to Nationals for next year! What an amazing group of student musicians! On to the next adventure as our year-end concerts are up next 😊🐾🎶🎵

The stage is set for an unforgettable night of jazz.

Join the Bow Valley High School Music Society for this year’s Jazz Gala on May 28 from 7–9 PM (doors open at 6:30pm).

Enjoy an evening of live music, student talent, community, and great energy while supporting a meaningful 'by donation' fundraiser for a new electric/silent double bass for our music program.
