Future Stars Daycare

We did it!!
We took the preschool children on our first walk on the new pathway to the Ranche. We saw a digger on the way there and a unmarked police truck pull someone over while we left the Ranche the children were very observant (they noticed that the truck had red and blue lights on the running boards), as we crossed the crosswalk, the police officer noticed us and stopped to wave at all the children. The children did amazing it took us 20 minutes to walk there, and twenty tired minutes to walk back. But we had so much fun while we were there.

We have been enjoying the sun in the afternoon, just a few pictures from this morning, and during quiet time when the toddlers and babies are asleep 💤.

I love the different stages of children’s drawing development.

The one with 3 people is for Ms.Heidi and her sons who are moving to Bashaw; the next one is made by a younger Child proudly said I can write my own name. The third one is made by a child who decided he wanted to draw and proudly said “look I made a happy picture “

What a fun week, our children had a great time exploring outside and enjoying nature along with time to be creative. We love puzzles, stories, blocks and the new house centre toys. And we celebrated Bee day with art and music (Crystal)

Happy Early Childhood Educator Day!!

We had a young Practicum Student from Mount Roy University Early Childhood Education Program come and do her very first practicum with us for four months. She came for two days a week eight hours a day. On her final day, she brought the children a documentation that she had done for school. She talked to the children about it. We wish her all the best for her next practicum as she continues her early childhood education journey.

We spied these deer 🦌 outside this morning. We enjoyed watching them jump over the back fences.
