Before we press pause for summer, we wanted to take a minute to appreciate what this club created together this year:

✨ New members who found the courage to speak up
✨ Speakers who stretched beyond their comfort zones
✨ A lot of encouragement, and support
✨ Countless moments of learning
✨ Thoughtful evaluations that helped us grow
✨ And a lot of laughs!!

Tomorrow (Monday 22nd) is our final meeting before summer break, and we'd love to see you there!!

Come celebrate another amazing Toastmasters season with us! 🎤☀️

We get it!

When you hear "Toastmasters," you might think of old school mentality, rigid rules, and boring... 💼

That is definitely not who we are!!

Check out what our member, Vanessa, shares about what she thought Toastmasters would be like versus what her actual experience is, with our epic crew!!

Spoiler alert: It is modern, supportive, and actually a lot of fun 🤪

Drop a comment below, let us know what you think and if you want to see what a modern public speaking community actually looks like, hit that Follow button and join us sometime! 🚀

This week our grammarian chose the word of the week as : Copacetic.

Meaning: “in excellent order.”

Which is funny… because Table Topics is usually the exact opposite of feeling orderly at first.

You get called up unexpectedly. Your brain blanks. Your body panics for half a second.

And then something fascinating happens:
people rise.

Stories appear. Confidence appears. Laughter appears.

And somehow, by the end of the night, it all becomes a little more copacetic.
