Today is “Dress like a career day” and we have some wonderful examples to share!

Fun events like this are age-appropriate ways for our young students to begin to learn about career pathways, which is one of the goals in our School Education Plan.

Read-a-thon!

Thank you EB families and students for your participation in our annual Read-a-thon! Today, we drew winners for our prizes and celebrated all of the reading we’ve done.

Here are a few pictures of our winners. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to take pictures of our grade 2 winners as they were busy practicing for their concert tomorrow evening.

Special thanks to some local sponsors and prize donors including the Cochrane Movie House, McKay’s Ice Cream, and Great Things in Store, Messy Moose, Cochrane Lanes, and SLS. Thank you for supporting our school.

Also a huge thank you our EBSFA committee for all their work to make this happen, and especially to Chantelle Richard for organizing and delivering prizes.

To date, we have raised over $5500 to support our students’ education. If you’d still like to donate, you can send an e-transfer to [email protected]

Please include your student’s name and Read-a-thon in the note section.

Thank you for your continued support of our school!
