Meagan’s Music Studio

Lots of new things happening this year.

Meagan’s Music Studio has moved to Cochrane where I will begin in person lessons starting September 2026. Zoom lessons are available should you not be in Cochrane but still want lessons. Online group classes will be offered should there be enough interest.

In December 2025 we will be welcoming a new addition to our family. Current students will still be able to take lessons this year but I will not be taking on new students until September 2026.

I am looking forward to new adventures and experiences in the coming year.

With this final course I finish my Masters in Elementary Education (specialization in Music Education). It was a great 2 weeks of learning and I am excited to bring what I know back to my studio.

Congratulations to all the Kodály Levels participants, and especially to Level III for becoming fully certified! What an incredible two weeks it was!

Our Year End Recital is always a great time. Lots of amazing performances. So proud of all my students and the progress they made this year.

It was great to ham it up on stage with one of my students in a musical theatre duet piece, accompany my students singing and teach the audience a “new” song.

I hope everyone has an amazing summer and I look forward to seeing everyone in the Fall.

I will be offering some FREE MYC piano try it classes at my studio in Copperwood. Come and see what MYC has to offer for children aged 3-12 years.

Today is blueberry muffin day with the perfect amount of blueberries. So excited to share them with my Moonbeam 1 classes.

I often get requests to bring my music classes to dayhomes. Today I went to my son’s dayhome and did a special Easter themed class. We had so much fun pretending to swat flies, playing instruments, “sleeping” and moving with the rainbow rope.

So excited to be running this program at Family Centre in Lethbridge again this Spring.

Join instructor Meagan Pon as she introduces music concepts to young children through the Music for Sunrise program. The classes will include a variety of games, stories and songs with a storyline introducing young children to the exciting world of music. Materials are “hands-on” with lots of visual aids and help children develop the four Cs - Concentration, Coordination, Confidence, and Cooperation.
