Every master understands a truth beginners resist: growth lives outside comfort.

Pain in training is not punishment, it is instruction. When muscles burn, when repetition feels endless, when failure stings, the body and mind are forced to adapt, to sharpen, to remember. Comfort asks nothing of you, so it teaches nothing. It leaves you exactly as you were. Discomfort, on the other hand, strips away laziness, builds resilience, refines technique, and forges the quiet confidence that only comes from surviving what once felt impossible.
