'Nicole', a beautiful new film by renowned photographer and filmmaker, Johan Hallberg Campbell will premier at IMAGINATE, on May 9. Follow the healing journey of a community advocate as she confronts the darkest times in her life--the same mean streets that she left 15 years behind her. A poignant, heartfelt story that will inspire viewers and leave them with a sense of lingering hope.

We're following the Juno Awards this weekend because we've got some friends in the game. Several past Imaginate performers are nominated for awards at this celebration of great Canadian music happening in Halifax.
Allison Russell is up for Songwriter of the Year, Contemporary Roots Album of the Year and her video for 'Demons' is up for Music Video of the Year. Okan's record, 'Okantomi' is nominated for Global Music Album of the Year, and Julian Taylor's 'Beyond the Reservoir' is in the running for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year.

What a lineup of presenters/performers already confirmed for IMAGINATE 2023! Jon Massimi, Christa Couture, Ashely Smoke, Cormac Russell, Tammy Kuehne, Shane Peacock, bekky O'Neil, Julian Taylor, Amanda Rheaume and Christian Harvey will be in Port Hope over the two days of Imaginate, April 20 and 21.
