From the earliest days of life, children develop through their interactions with the adults around them.

Learning how attachment, relationships, communication, and early brain development work together can help childcare professionals better understand children’s behaviour and emotional development.

✅ These are some of the topics explored in our FREE Early Learning and Childcare Education Program, alongside human development, trauma, emotional development, play, self-care, professional ethics, and more.

✅ This knowledge will be valuable throughout a career in early learning and childcare—helping you recognize children’s needs, respond more confidently in real-life situations, and build stronger relationships with children and families.

📆 Participants will also gain access to our October 28th event in Cobourg, Ontario - where we’re hosting six national and international speakers who will share their expertise on early learning, brain development, and the evolving childcare sector.

This 6-week FREE online program combines current research with practical learning to help participants build a strong foundation for working with young children.

“Learning begins in utero and never stops.” - This is one of the 'Three Simple Truths of Early Development' explored by Dr. Dan Wuori in his book, The Daycare Myth: What We Get Wrong About Early Care and Education (and What We Should Do About It).

📆 Join us in person on OCTOBER 28 at our FREE EVENT in Cobourg. You'll hear from Dr. Dan Wuori in person! and have the opportunity to enter our book draw for a chance to win complementary copies of The Daycare Myth! 👉🏽 ctdclearningplace.com/events

Dr. Wuori's book provides practical advice while challenging the idea that childcare exists separately from education — or that “care” and “learning” are two different things.

This first truth speaks to what’s happening even before birth, that babies are already processing sound and beginning to recognize voices, rhythms and patterns in their environment.
