July camps are full! Don’t miss out on getting your child in to August camps! Located NE of Coaldale AB. Tons of fun, lots of activities and most importantly, horses!

Unfortunately we are going to postpone mounted games this weekend. Things have been a bit upheaved lately and we’ve been a bit bogged down and overwhelmed. The outdoor arena is also still wet and it’s not the same playing inside with less space and viewing area. Stay tuned for a rescheduled date.

07/07/2026

We still have some spaces in camps! Campers have a great time riding horses for 2 hours a day, learning different games and activities that can be played on the ground or with horses. Crafts, water games, pony play and so much more! Register now to make sure your camper has a great time at camp!

“Every real story is a never ending story” - Narrater - Neverending Story
Atreyu was so expressive in everything. He hated snakes- to the point I once found a dead snake in his pen. Pancaked flat. Atreyu loved treats and would lick any part of you he could when he had one he liked. He hated water so much he would let Rosie eat every scrap of food but she couldn’t have the shelter- especially in the rain.
Atreyu didn’t stop being afraid, but his bravery grew. He would pause in front of the tarp, look for another way around, but then cross because I asked him to. When it was too hot and he was uncomfortable he would let me spray him down even though he would keep his eyes on the hose jic it turned into a snake.
From his fear, grew a horse with more heart and love than I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. A caregiver who could carry an anxious adult, a special needs individual or could help rock a baby to sleep. A best friend who would return your hug, and carry you while you wept. A partner you could confide your dreams and secrets to and he would share his own. In that- both of you became stronger.
The name Atreyu came from the tale of the Neverending Story. A name to carry you into our future and leave your old self behind. An homage to dreams and tales, a boy on an adventure of courage and bravery. 15 years wasn’t nearly enough time to adventure together. Until we meet again 💔

This loss feels impossible. Not just because we knew Myster E for so much longer than the 8 years we were able to call him ours. Or even because of how quickly and unexpectedly we had to say goodbye. Maybe it’s because it’s hard to truly appreciate how Much this pony meant to so many people
Everyone has a Myster E story. Some of these stories are about when people discovered how fast he could be, some about their first fall, but many more about learning to steer, to trot, to lope. Hundreds of kids spent time on Myster learning to ride, many had ambitions of riding taller horses and many more had to be slowly convinced they were too big to continue riding him. Myster E loved attention and knew how to get it even if it meant making a mess, untying his lead or nipping. He loved playing soccer with the kids, didn’t flinch at the Cowboy Challenges and diligently and patiently toted anxious tots around. The hole he leaves in our hearts will be impossible to fill. We begged for years for the pleasure of calling him ours and 8 years wasn’t nearly enough time.
We know that Harley and Thor are racing to meet him in the heavens even as our hearts grieve and that many more hearts are broken tonight hearing this news. We would love to hear about your stories of Myster E if you’d like to share.
