Global fuel shortages are disrupting flights and travel. If you hold the Entente Plus Travel Plan, you may be covered for reasonable expenses when you've already exhausted available refunds, credits or accommodations from your airline or travel supplier.

Eligible expenses may include:
- additional accommodation costs from extended delays or a cancelled return flight
- prepaid non-refundable hotels, excursions or attractions you couldn't recover through your travel supplier
- other reasonable expenses directly resulting from the disruption

Each claim is assessed individually, and supporting documentation is required. The Entente Plus Travel Plan is part of our Extended Health Care plan. Today is Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Data suggests 8 to 10% of adults over 65 experience some form of abuse, but those numbers could be low due to underreporting.

The most common form of elder abuse is financial. Other forms include psychological, physical, sexual, neglect, and systemic, which includes rules and policies that harm or discriminate against older adults.
