Hello parents!
With parent teacher interviews coming up School Council would like to take this opportunity to show the teachers appreciation for all their hard work by providing them with supper on interview days. We hope to provide meals for both Tuesday and Thursday night. If you are able to provide part of the meal please email [email protected] and let us know what you can provide. Thank you for supporting our fantastic teachers in this way! This has become a yearly tradition and every year we hear from the teachers how much it means to them.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Chairperson to lead our Claresholm Schools Fundraising Society and help bring exciting projects and events to life!

Dont forget tomorrow between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm is the WMES Open House!

Feel free to drop in during that time for a quick visit to:

—Check class lists for grades 1-6 (Kindergarten information was sent out in June, if you did not get an email with that info please let Mrs. MacDonald know!)
—Meet your child (children’s) teacher(s)
—Drop off any school supplies you may have already so there’s less to carry the first day of school
—Meet Mr. Heck (our new principal)

If you can’t make it tomorrow, the class lists will be posted on the first day of school so families can check where to go that morning.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

With the Summer Holiday coming up, we understand that some people like to express gratitude to teachers and staff with thoughtful cards and at times small gifts of appreciation. This year, we invited teachers and staff to fill in a favourites things sheet to help us know them a bit better! This sheet asked them what their favourite colour, activities, snacks, treats, all types of beverages of choice and much more about them! We have received them back from the teachers and staff who elected to participate. If you are wanting to know a bit more about them, send us an email at [email protected] with the name of that staff or teacher and we will let you know if we have their list!

Parents and Guardians, we by no means are trying to add pressure to an already tight time and we would like to make this clear that the teachers and staff have not initiated this. We just wanted to have something that would allow us to better know how to appreciate staff and teachers in a small way throughout the year!
