Albertan born on a grain farm to rethink how World Food Programme's humanitarian aid is delivered Robert Opp didn't set out to change the world but he's now tasked with reimagining how humanitarian aid is delivered by one of the world's largest aid organizations.

Congratulations to Mark Maloney, recipient of this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award. His name and photo will be added to the WCCHS Wall of Fame. Thank you to Mr. A for accepting on Mark’s behalf.

Sheri Meyerhoffer

Sheri Meyerhoffer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Hon. ’82) and a Juris Doctor (’85). She is a Canadian lawyer with technical expertise in the areas of law reform, governance and capacity building developed over more than two decades through hands on experience with writing, interpreting, and advocating for legislative and regulatory law reform in Canada, Russia, Cuba, China, Jamaica, and Nepal.
Sheri is currently Head of Mission for the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IIDEA) in Nepal. IIDEA's Nepal program is focused on supporting that country)s process to draft and implement its new constitution. From 2007-2011 she held the position of Canadian Project Director for a Canadian government funded partnership project between the Canadian Bar Association and the Nepal Bar Association titled Developing Democracy in Nepal.
Her previous experience also includes managing processes involving a diverse range of stakeholders such as government, special interest groups, community organizations, indigenous populations, and the public.
