This week, the Clarenville Campus community lost a beloved, well respected, long time instructor. It is hard to put into words the impact Trent White had on so many of us as a colleague, instructor, and friend.
Trent started working at College of the North Atlantic (CNA) Clarenville Campus in 1998 as an Academic Math/Physics Instructor. Through his patience, knowledge, and genuine care for others, he left a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues.
Trent was a loving husband to Denise, another adored member of our CNA family as the Instructional Coordinator for the Online Business program. Their life together was built on love, friendship, and an unwavering support for one another, and our thoughts are especially with Denise during this difficult time.
Trent’s story was one of resilience and strength. Never defined by challenges, he rose above them and inspired others to keep moving forward.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his humour, his love of storytelling, and the connections he built so effortlessly.
His legacy lives on in every person he encouraged, every student he supported, and every life he touched.
Over the past few days, so many beautiful stories and memories of Trent have been shared. We would love to bring them together in one place so they can be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
Please feel free to share your stories, memories, or messages for Denise and the family.

🥳 Congratulations to CNA’s own Brandon Clarke on an incredible journey to the National Skills Canada Competition in Carpentry! After capturing Gold at the provincial competition, Brandon proudly represented Newfoundland and Labrador on the national stage and made us all proud.
A special thank you to Clarenville Campus’s own Wayne Pike for his outstanding coaching, mentorship, and support throughout the journey.
Way to go, Brandon and Wayne! 🛠️🏆
They don't really understand the meaning of "viral" and now they think they’re influencers. We respectfully ask the Campus Director and Associate VP to return to their regularly scheduled academic duties. 📝 📱
