This is the face of a woman who knows who she is.

💜 A woman who chooses to love and respect herself regardless of outside noise.

🛡️ A woman who learned to create boundaries, communicate them, and then stand strong.

🪞 This is also the face of a woman who no longer seeks validation from others.

🧰 It was only after meeting those milestones that I created One Toolbox Leadership™

I want you to feel the same calming freedom that I strive for, regardless of what is going on around you.

That is self-leadership.

Reach out if you are ready to stop stretching yourself thin. You deserve better

Leadership is about impact. It MUST be larger than any of us.

Taranjot (TJ) Singh has taught me that the most valuable mentorships aren't planned. They happen organically without being forced.

The true magic of being chosen as a mentor by TJ, is that our relationship goes both ways.

He makes my life richer by showing me how resilient, motivated, and hard working our youth can be when given the tools they need to thrive.

The impact we make in each other's lives is one that I hope continues long after I take my last breath.

Most leadership conflicts don't start with poor communication.

They start with assumptions.

Before you react, pause and ask yourself one question:

"What facts do I actually have, and what story am I filling in myself?"

If you don't know the answer, don't assume.
Ask.

Try this: "Can you help me understand what happened?"

That one question replaces judgment with curiosity and turns a potential conflict into a productive conversation.

Strong leaders don't assume.

They seek to understand first.

What's one assumption you can replace with a question today?

One toolbox. One leader.

"I came home earlier than expected from the office today."

That scene rarely leads to a positive outcome in the Netflix world. 😳

I knew that coming home early meant I'd still need to work a few hours before the day ended.

My girlfriend is home 🤢😷 today and I have a habit of wanting to discuss every aspect of what's rolling around in my overly ambitious and creative brain.

She needs 😴 and my presence wouldn't be conducive of that.

So, I traded my standard office desk and my co-workers for something we all need from time to time...a change of scenery, perspective, and company.

I brought my 💻 out on the patio under the overhang as the skies opened up to a much needed summer rain, and 15 ducks gathered on the beach below.

I love my co-workers but these feathery ones really didn't need anything from me. I was able to let my guard down and my thoughts drift.

But, as the work came to an end, I found myself feeling refreshed and recharged when I'd normally feel tired and out of focus.

Maybe I need more workdays in the 🌧️ with the 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆.
