As an ECE, Jiya has always been drawn to young children's boundless curiosities and enthusiasm. Her passions lie in creating nurturing and stimulating learning environments where children can explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Jiya is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where children can feel valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Hello everyone! We want to introduce the Connecting Dots -Clairmont School team to you. Over the next few weeks, you will see posts introducing our staff to you.

Let's start off with our Program Director Kristina!

Leading the way at Connection Dots- Clairmont School is where you will find me, Kristina. I was born and raised in a small community 2 hours North of here before moving to Grande Prairie to obtain my diploma in Early Childhood. I moved back home where I could hone in on my skills and grow further professionally in my field of work. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Seeing a child learn new things, develop their skills, and reach new milestones is an exciting process. Over the past 10 years of me being in this field, I have had the privilege to work with many children of various backgrounds and needs which has helped me to become such a diverse educator with many tools on my toolbelt. I am also always looking for new professional development courses to take to help grow that toolbelt. I believe that professional development is key to professional growth and being the best version of yourself. I look forward to working with all the families of Connecting Dots Clairmont School and all the other members involved in Connecting Dots Foundation.

Fun Fact: Kristina loves to spend time out on her family farm, sewing baby quilts/receiving blankets, or just jamming out and baking.
