We're Hiring: Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or Level 3)
Location: Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026

Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact in the lives of young children? If so, We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team in September 2026.

Responsibilities:
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow.
Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences.
Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
Observe and document children's development.
Follow Saskatchewan Child Care Regulations, licensing requirements, and centre policies.

Qualifications:
Saskatchewan Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Certification (required).
Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Lakeland Early Learning Cooperative is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Students to join our childcare team for the summer months. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in working with children and gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.

Position Details:
Job Title: Summer Student – Childcare Assistant

Location: Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan

Duration: Summer term (exact dates to be determined)

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Eligibility Requirements:

Must have been enrolled in school during the previous academic year and returning to school in the upcoming academic year (Fall)

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible

Must be at least 16 years old

Key Responsibilities:

Assist educators in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
Support daily routines, including playtime, meals, and rest periods
Help organize and participate in activities such as crafts, outdoor play, and games
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the centre
Follow all health, safety, and childcare regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

Interest in working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous childcare or volunteer experience is an asset (but not required)
