An excellent first month at Kaizen Chito Ryu Karate! We have been working on basics, and our explosive energy in kumite skills. A special visitor, Sensei Eric has been joining us on Tuesdays, and we welcome our newest student at 82 years young. It’s never too late to join us! Please come by to try us out! A great turnout for Tuesday’s class! Kumite basics with a partner and as an individual were practiced. At Kaizen Karate you can come give us a try anytime. First class back, last Thursday. It felt good to get back at it with our karate family. I only managed one photo of late class! Our senior students spent this class reviewing Ju Ni Ko, with a focus on proper ex*****on of haishu uke, maintaining “sticky hand.” We continue to accept new students, come check us out! Next class, Tuesday September 8th, beginning at 6:30 pm. No experience necessary, no commitment to try it out.
