McCammon Before and After School Care

The time has come for year end of school.

Reminder our last day of before and after school is June 25th and yes, we are open the full day as school had an early dismissal .

We then re-open July 2nd for summer camps as July 1st (Wednesday) is a stat holiday.

Mrs. Monica has been bringing in some fun new toys and equipment for the kids. They are loving it!!!
We are getting Excited for some new toys and games to arrive for summer camps and I’ll be posting some fun things we have planned coming up this Summer . . . Excited to share with you all soon - special guests and much more . .

We know that by the end of the year, children come to us tired by the end of day and we do our best to accommodate all and have as much stress free fun for them!
We like to balance our afternoons with fun sports games and play outside , gym time (which they love and ask for each day) this week was gymnastics week and end our day in classroom for games, sensory toys, quiet time with Lego , arts and crafts and the best is watching our children find interests and we can help assist with that .. loving our writing crew who are making story books 📚

Fridays Water Slide Field Trip: parents the bus has a likely potential of returning back later after the bell . We have been notified some are either taking their child to the field trip and/or not returning to us .
Can you please text us to let us know if you are taking your child home or they are coming to us.

If coming to us, buses can arrive at different times and we don’t know where your child is so VERY important you tell them to return to us as we can’t pick them up from the bus or look for them.

Summer Camp and Re-registration for September.

Parking at Pick up FRIDAY MAY 8th
Mccammon is having an event starting at 4:00. It will be extremely busy and parking will be limited prior to 4:00 until evening to accommodate the events food trucks etc.
Prepare to have to park on the road and you will have to walk to our door to pick up your child as we won’t be able to have children walk to you with a very Busy parking lot set up.
Looks like it will be a wonderful event for all families. Have FUN!!

Reminder this coming Friday is pro-day, sign up by Wednesday if needing the spot.

Starting tomorrow we are sending home Summer Camp forms and September re-registration forms!
Very important to read over and hand in asap.

Note: We do put your child’s name on all newsletters sent home (have all year) we give them to your child as they leave at the day and we mark down the day they where send home with your child , we keep track so there is no miscommunication if your child didn’t get it.

Hope everyone had a wonderful spring break. It went by fast and tomorrow is everyone first day back! We had a wonderful 2 weeks with our students over spring break.
Mrs. Monica had wonderful time playing games each day, building forts, movie days, Easter hunt , clay painting, treats, ice cream and popcorns days, outdoor games when we got some sun and who can forget Mrs Monica making fake snow as science so children can have a snow ball fight in the gym!
Lots of other activities was had to keep your little ones busy.

SD had made announcements and sent out emails that all Chilliwack schools and facilities will be closed tomorrow. This includes all daycares, preschools and before and after school cares. We are closed tomorrow

Safe travel to anyone whom has to travel and I hope you are all safe and no flooding around your areas ❤️
