Jadeite Through Generations
One day, this little girl will inherit more than dishes.
She’ll inherit family meals, holiday gatherings, stories around the table, and pieces that have been loved for decades.
That’s one of the things I love most about Jadeite. It’s never really just about the dishes. It’s about the memories they help create and the people who gather around them.
Here’s to passing down traditions, creating new memories, and maybe inspiring the next generation of Jadeite lovers.
Jadeite served, memories created.

One of my favorite ways to make a buffet table really stand out? Mixing Jadeite with thrifted silver pieces.
A few silver-plated bowls, trays, or pedestal pieces from the thrift store can instantly make a buffet feel more layered, warm, and special - without spending a fortune.

You know you collect Jadeite when you stop looking at thrift store baskets as baskets… and start looking at them as Jadeite displays.

Today’s thrifted find inspired a fun hostess gift idea. This vintage Pyrex server (originally made for Pyrex!) happens to fit a Jadeite 9×13 casserole beautifully.
Add a cozy cookbook, a kitchen towel, and suddenly you have a thoughtful gift for someone who loves gathering family around the table. Jadeite served, memories created.

Here’s a Jadeite inspired Mother’s Day gift basket. The wire basket, white restaurant ware pitcher, and the Anchor Hocking Black Wheat casserole dish were all thrift finds from yesterday.

I wanted to try a slightly more tailored, Ralph Lauren–inspired direction with this table… but, as usual, using all thrifted pieces.
The tablecloth, candlesticks, vase, and napkins are all recent thrifted finds.
It’s amazing how just a few small things like mixing in a bit of brass and glass can make everything feel more pulled together.
This is one of those setups that looks elevated, but is actually very easy to recreate with what you already have at home.

Aside from the Jadeite, most of what you see here has been thrifted. This is how you can put together a table that feels inviting, all on a budget.
