Turning big ideas into tiny works of art. Our Art Metal Jewellery students have been busy designing, shaping, soldering, and polishing their own unique pieces. We love seeing creativity, craftsmanship, and personal style come together through hands-on learning.

Last week, as we looked toward the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our students gathered to listen and learn from Indigenous authors Peggy Janicki and Nicola Campbell. We’re grateful for the time they shared with us.

Our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation asks us to keep listening, learning, and making space for Indigenous voices throughout the year. Thank you to Alex Desilets and the students who helped make the morning so meaningful. 🧡

Our grads came back the night before school started to leave words of inspiration in chalk for this year’s students as they walked through. What a wonderful and welcoming surprise! 💛

A huge thank you to our own Chris Buxton for capturing the heart of DLC26.

Chris spent the conference quietly moving through classrooms, exhibitions, and conversations, somehow managing to capture all of the moments that made our first Deeper Learning Canada conference so special. The curiosity, the joy, the connections, the student voice, and the incredible community that came together are all reflected in these beautiful images.

We're so grateful that you shared your talent with us, Chris. These photos will help us remember this first year for a long time to come.

If you haven't seen Chris's work before, it's well worth checking out: https://www.cbuxtonphotography.com

Still soaking in an incredible few days hosting the inaugural Deeper Learning Canada.

One moment we’ll hang onto was hearing Ron Berger share how much hope he found at Imagine. Hearing someone who has inspired educators around the world speak so highly of our students, staff, and community meant a lot.

A huge shout out to Finny and Frankie for representing Imagine so thoughtfully, and to our amazing staff for creating the kind of learning that inspires others.

Feeling pretty grateful to call this place home. 💙
