Tomorrow, June 26, is a P.A. Day for Staff. There is no school for students.

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing summer! We can't wait to hear all about your summer adventures when classes resume in September!

ATTENTION PARENTS!

Our year end assembly scheduled for this morning will be moved to the gym. As you know, our gym is extremely small and gets warm very quickly. If your child's teacher reached out to let you know they are receiving an award and you'd like to attend, you are welcome to; just know that it will be very hot in the gym. If you were planning to attend to simply enjoy the school community event when it was outside, we'd kindly ask that you consider the size and space of our gym in your decision whether or not to still attend. While this isn't the way we wanted to kick off the last day of school, the weather kindly reminded us this morning that she is a force all her own. We are excited to share this last day of school with our students. We thank you for all that you have done to support your kids in helping them get to today! If we don't see you today, have an amazing summer!

Play Day is a blast! Thank you to our staff for organizing and to our student leaders for running such an amazing day!

Tomorrow is our Year End Awards Assembly! Events will kick off around 9:00 outside. Parents are welcome to attend. We highly recommend bringing a lawn chair! We can't wait to celebrate the achievements of all of our students on the last day of school!

Don't forget that tomorrow is a FIFA Colour Day! Wear the colours of your favourite country/team playing in the World Cup!

As we wind down the last few days of school, please remind your child to start bringing home personal items. Teachers have started to help students with desk and cubby cleanouts. If there is something specific you know your child has at school that you'd like to ensure they bring home over the summer, please have a conversation with them about what should come home over the summer. Any items in our Lost and Found not collected by Thursday will be generously donated. Thank you!

Tomorrow is Play Day!
Students will participate in spectacular events organized by our intermediate students! Students should be prepared to be outside for a larger part of the day. Having a water bottle and hat, along with running shoes is recommended. Please send your child(ren) to school with sunscreen applied.

We're celebrating Canada Day a little early this year! On the last day of school, Thursday, June 25th, students are encouraged to wear red and white, or any Canadian inspired spirit wear! Don't have anything red or white? Wear your Kings gear instead!
