Solidarity Day or (Canada’s National Aboriginal Day) is annually held on June 21 to celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding achievements of the nation’s Aboriginal peoples. ICRPS will be recognizing Solidarity Day by wearing orange today, Friday, June 19th

Tomorrow (Thursday) is red and white day as Canada faces Qatar in the FIFA World Cup. Show your Canadian Spirit tomorrow Sundevils!

🏅 HISTORY IN MOTION
The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire board came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.

Our first two Intermediate Arts Showcase performances today, were a huge hit. If you weren't able to come to our daytime performance, we are hoping you can make it out to our evening performance, tonight (Thursday June 11, 2026) at 6:00. Come and check out what our grade 7 & 8's have been working on all throughout the year, with a visual art display in the small gym, and performances of drama, dance and music in the big gym. The 6:00 performance is open to everyone.

Hi ICRPS families!

We are excited to welcome the ICRPS school community out to cheer on the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers in their game this Sunday at 1:05pm at Fergie Jenkins Field. The Barnstormers have offered us special discounted tickets ($10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under), so invite some friends and come out and have a great time.

Chatham-Kent Barnstormers Game Cheer on the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers with Indian Creek families ⚾️🎟️. Join us for a fun afternoon out as they battle the Barrie Baycats. Bring your family, invite a friend, and help us show our ICRPS spirit in the stands!

Mark your calendars! ICRPS is having a BBQ at Sobey's on Saturday, June 13th from 11-2. Kindergarten staff members will be serving up cold drinks, fun snacks, and yummy hotdogs. Donations will be accepted for playground improvements. See you there!
