Ursula School is one of three Catholic Schools serving students on the south side of Chatham. Ursula Church. The School was originally built in 1950 and has undergone two major additions. In 1996 four new classrooms were added to the school along with a new staff room, teacher's workroom and administrative offices for the secretary, principal and vice-principal. Rotating Strike Scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2020 is Suspended
All St. Clair Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools Open on Monday, February 24, 2020
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We have received late word today that the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA), which represents Catholic teachers in Ontario, is suspending its schedule of rotating one-day full withdrawals of services (full strike actions) scheduled for next week. This means the one day strike previously announced for Monday, February 24, 2020 is cancelled. All St. Clair Catholic elementary and secondary schools will be open to students and staff on Monday, February 24, 2020. Bussing will run as normal.
We see this suspension of scheduled rotating strikes as a hopeful sign in the provincial negotiations. The Ministry of Labour appointed mediator has called parties in the negotiations back to the central bargaining table for Monday, February 24, 2020.
As of today’s date, there are no further one-day full strike actions scheduled for St. Clair Catholic. All schools will remain open until further notice. Should there be a change you will be notified by direct email and through updated posts to Board and school websites, Edsby and the Board’s Facebook and Twitter platforms.

Interested in coming to the Bradley Centre and see our decorated trees (and maybe purchase raffle tickets for them?) Cost of admission is $5 per person or $10 per family. Children under 5 free. But be aware that Wednesday evening and Saturday morning is for advance ticket holders only. Tickets for Wednesday evening can be purchased at Ursuline College office and for Saturday, at McDonald's on St. Clair Street.
