Celebrating National Engineering Month with our STEAM Powered Engineering Camp!

Join us on Saturday, March 14th from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM at the UPEI Engineering Building ( #30) for a FREE full-day camp designed for students in Grades 6–9 across PEI.

Participants will enjoy a full day of hands-on engineering challenges, teamwork activities, engineer talks, creative problem-solving, and exciting mystery activities.

Our researchers are developing sustainable way transforming local sawdust into sustainable activated carbon to clean contaminated water - because as FSDE Assistant Professor Dr. Yulin Hu says, “we make the water dirty, so we should clean it too.” 💧🌍

P.E.I. researchers turn sawdust into a solution for dirty water | CBC News Researchers at UPEI are experimenting with using sawdust to clean wastewater, and they hope in the future they can use it to remove 'forever chemicals' — like PFAS.

UPEI engineering student wins prestigious national scholarship The UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) congratulates Lilly O'Rielly for winning the prestigious C.D. Howe Scholarship Endowment Fund National Engineering Scholarship.
