Group of 30 today = a call for BOTH instructors to help demo, and teach the hands-on skills! 👏

Just two owners. Just two instructors. And yes, husband and wife working together.

Thank gosh we have day jobs, because we’re pretty sure we couldn’t survive working together full-time. 😉😂

Atleast 98% of our students say they’ve never used one of these before, despite many having taken courses for many years!

This is an ACT FAST choking vest. We use it in our classes to give students the chance to actually practice responding to an airway emergency.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to practice a skill hands-on.. how can you really know what it feels like to do it?!

That’s the Life Start difference. ❤️💙

More hands-on learning, practicing skills, and building confidence when it matters. We don’t just want you to know what to do, we want you to feel ready to do it.

Muscle memory helps, when minutes matter.

We add a little laughter so it sticks… and a LOT of hands-on so you actually remember what to do. Guess where you’ll find our latest sponsorship?!

Here’s a hint - It’s somewhere supporting local athletes in the sport Devin played most growing up.. 🤔

A little small-business spin for your Saturday morning.

One of our two owners/instructors showed up early today to set up for a corporate class.. and used that extra time to squeeze in some coursework for their day job.

Because when you own a small business, sometimes the juggling act looks like:
👩‍💼 Career by day
🩹 First Aid instructor by - whenever there’s a class
📚 Coursework squeezed in wherever it fits
🏠 Family always in the mix

We’re a small, family-owned business, and every class, every booking and every person who chooses to support Life Start genuinely means something to us.

Thanks for supporting our small business and cheering us on along the way! 💙❤️

In an emergency, your brain doesn’t rise to the occasion 😬
It falls back on what it’s practiced and what you did over and over again.

That’s why we don’t just talk about First Aid.
We wrap with real bandages, use real supplies, and practice real scenarios.

Because “I saw this once on a poster” or "I saw this on a bus once" 🤣 isn’t a solid emergency plan!

Book with us today!

Who says first aid training has to be serious all day long? At Life Start, learning and laughter go hand-in-hand.

When you’re engaged, interacting, practicing, asking questions, and even laughing a little (or a lot) the skills actually stick. 🩹

Confidence isn’t built by sitting quietly in a chair. It’s built by doing.

That’s why our classes are hands-on, interactive, and yes… occasionally loud. 😉 Because when an emergency happens, we don’t want you remembering a slide or trying to google quick.

We want you remembering exactly what to do.

The most powerful classrooms aren’t always corporate bookings. Sometimes they’re filled with youth.

Students learning CPR for the first time. Young leaders stepping into responsibility.

When we train youth, we’re not just checking a requirement. We’re creating ripple effects.

Because when young people know what to do in an emergency, communities get stronger and we build muscle memory for knowledge.

This is impact that lasts the next generation.

Ontario — we’re ready🙌

As we prepare for expansion in 2026, Life Start will be accepting a limited number of franchise applications across Ontario.

And we’re going to be selective. Growth for us has never been about “more.” It’s about the right locations. The right fit. The right owners who align with the Life Start standard.

We’re looking for individuals who believe in interactive, hands-on training. Who care about quality of training and who want to build something that matters.

We will only be opening a handful of territories in 2026.

If you’ve been watching our growth and thinking, “I want to be part of that,” this is your opportunity.

Training with purpose. 💥

When you realize your skills can make the difference between life and death, it’s more than just a certificate—it’s empowerment.

Life Start Training is now approved in Ontario🙌

This milestone represents years of refinement, system-building, instructor development, and raising the standard across every province we operate in. Expansion for us is never about speed, it’s about integrity, compliance, and sustainability.

It's been 5 years of waiting, and building. This is a big deal for us, and we can't wait to bring the Life Start style to Ontario!!

Change in an industry doesn’t happen quietly.

It happens when someone decides “good enough” isn’t good enough anymore.

We’ve built Life Start on the belief that training should stick.
That instructors should care.
That classrooms should feel alive.

We’re not chasing fast growth, we are chasing instructors who want their students to learn and feel confident.

We’re building something that will still matter ten years from now. That’s the difference.

March 11 marks six months since Luc officially opened Calgary Foothills and began delivering courses the Life Start way.

Six months of building and showing up. Six months of bringing interactive, hands-on, confidence-building training to his community.

Participants consistently highlight the interactive teaching style, the clarity of instruction, and the way he makes learning stick.
And for the record, no participants were harmed during this image🤣

In just six short months, he’s built real momentum in the Foothills region 🙌 We’re proud of the passion and consistency you’ve brought to your area.

This is just the beginning.✨

Big things don’t usually arrive quietly…

But this one might. Life Start has been working behind the scenes for quite some time now.

Conversations. Compliance. Standards. Infrastructure. Meetings that don’t make social media. Systems that take months, not days to build.

If you’ve been watching Life Start over the past few years, you already know — we don’t expand just to expand. We build foundations first. We make sure every box is checked. We make sure the standard is protected and systems in place.

And when we move, it’s intentional. A new chapter is loading.... And a very big one. 🇨🇦

And when we share it, you’ll understand why we took our time.

Six years ago, I had a plan😬

I had a path forward.
I knew where I thought I was going.
I knew what I believed the future would look like.

Little did I know… the future had an entirely different plan for me🤣

It shook things up.
It changed direction.
It completely shifted the trajectory not only of my business, but of future businesses for other people.

What started as one vision has turned into something far bigger than I could have mapped out.

In less than six years, we’ve built systems from the ground up.
We’ve expanded across Canada.
We’ve strengthened standards.
We’ve created classrooms that feel different.
We’ve built opportunities for entrepreneurs who wanted something more.

And we’re still just getting started. Sometimes the path you think you’re on isn’t the one you’re meant to walk.

Sometimes the disruption is the direction.

Six years later, I can confidently say this is exactly where we were meant to be👏

Three years ago today, I stood beside Colin as he opened our first official franchise location in Halifax, Nova Scotia🙌

There’s something different about that first one... It’s the proof of concept. The leap of faith. The moment you realize the vision is bigger than you.

Today, he’s heading into his fourth year of business and still going strong🥳

That means he’s showing up for the Halifax community.
That means workplaces are staying compliant.
That means thousands of participants are walking out more confident than when they walked in.

He’s become an anchor for training in Nova Scotia, consistent, reliable, and trusted.

And if you’ve read the reviews… you already know the dad jokes are alive and well🤣

Colin, we’re proud of the leadership, the growth, and the humour you bring to Life Start Training First Aid & Safety

Year four looks good on you🤩
