La Muse Arts Development Limited (繆斯藝術) 成立於2012年,提供全方位之舞蹈、音樂、 藝術及各項兒童發展課程。繆斯藝術專注於兒童及青少年的個人成長及發展,希望透過各項藝術教育去栽培兒童及青少年成為全人。我們相信,所有人都是特別的,每一位兒童都是獨一無二的。在繆斯藝術,我們會為每位學員提供一個安全,信任和支持的環境,並希望每位學員在繆斯藝術都有一個愉快的空間去建立個人價值觀及獨立成長。

When the Body Says “Not Today” — Understanding CNS Fatigue

After an intense lifting session and several coaching sessions, I noticed my body felt off — heavy, slow, and less responsive. That’s not just muscle fatigue. It’s your central nervous system (CNS) asking for recovery.

CNS fatigue happens when your brain and nerves are overloaded from high-intensity or high-volume training. It’s your system saying, “I need time to reset.”

How to Recover:

Prioritize sleep — deep rest restores the nervous system.
Gentle movement or walking to improve blood flow.
Breathing practices to calm your body’s stress response.
Reduce training load or intensity for a few days.

Remember: recovery is training too. Listen to your body — balance strength with softness.

你個身體同你講「叔叔今天不行了」——了解中樞神經疲勞(CNS Fatigue)

完成左今日嘅訓練同教班之後,發現自己身體嘅感覺變得沉重、反應又慢左。呢個訊號唔單止係肌肉疲勞咁簡單,而係中樞神經系統(CNS)發出 警號 -- 話比你聽你個身體係時係停一停,佢需要時間恢復。

中樞神經系統疲勞會出現係長時間高強度或者大量訓練後,大腦同神經過度負荷,身體會進入「能量保護模式」,你個反應會慢左,身體好似慢幾拍咁。

恢復方法:

要有充足睡眠,等神經系統有真正嘅休息。
輕鬆活動或者散步,促進血液循環。
呼吸練習,讓身體回到平靜,放鬆神經系統。
降低訓練強度,減少訓練次數,比自己幾日調整期。

記住,恢復都係訓練嘅一部分。聆聽同感受身體,係力量同放鬆之間搵到平衡。

The clocks turn back — one more hour of rest 🕰️
But as the daylight shifts, our body rhythm needs time to adjust.

Here are some gentle ways to help your body ease into the change:
🌞 Soak up sunlight — step outside in the morning or early afternoon to reset your internal clock.
💨 Breathe deeply — slow, rhythmic breathing before bed helps calm your nervous system and prepare for sleep.
🤸‍♀️ Move lightly — take a walk, stretch, or do gentle movement practice in the afternoon to balance your energy.
💤 Create a sleep ritual — dim the lights, slow your breath, and let your body know it’s time to rest.

Your body will need a few days to find a new rhythm.
Be kind, move slowly, and take this time to enjoy the calm of early winter. 🍂

✨ Regular movement and breathing keep your system grounded through the seasonal shift.

聽日就會轉冬令時間啦,時間慢一個鐘,今晚多左一個鐘頭休息。
不過隨住日光變短,身體都需要時間去重新適應節奏。

比身體慢慢踏入冬令時間嘅幾個小練習:
🌞 曬太陽 —— 有太陽的話,出門口行下,幫助調節生理時鐘。
💨 深呼吸 —— 睡之前做幾輪慢呼吸,比神經系統放鬆,幫你睡好少少。
🤸‍♀️ 輕鬆活動 —— 下晝做少少伸展、散步或者簡單嘅動作。
💤 建立你專屬嘅睡前儀式 —— 校暗燈光,放慢呼吸,唔好瞓之前睇電話,比身體知道應該休息。

身體需要幾日先可以調整好時間嘅轉變。
慢慢黎,對自己好D,享受下入冬嘅寧靜。🍂
