Ah, these days!

Heartbreaking news for my home province, Nova Scotia this past weekend. My heart goes out to the community of Portapique and all those families and friends that have been affected by this senseless act.

I am drawn to music when my heart needs healing and so I hope that this cover of “We Rise Again” by the Rankin Family brings comfort to someone.

I woke up with this one in my head. And it stayed there all day until I decided to let it out.

Thanks to Sweet Honey in the Rock for this beautiful song, Wanting Memories and for Monica Punké for first introducing it to me.

Just a lil something to share with the world today. It’s not perfect, the angle is TERRIBLE, but this song gives me the feels.

Hello Lovely Humans,
Due to the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, the PEISO has decided to cancel this evening’s concert with Magdalena Von Eccher and Glen Montgomery. Performances of EKR Hammell’s beautiful “Songs from the Aviary” and Schubert’s Auf Dem Strom will have to wait for another time. It has been a joy rehearsing with my collaborators Bill Costin and Magdalena! 🙌🏻

PEISO Presents: Glen and Magdalena 03/09/2020

The PEI Symphony Orchestra is presenting a fundraising concert coming up this Saturday evening and I can tell you it promises to be amazing. Recognized as two of Canada's most outstanding musicians, we are so lucky to have pianists Magdalena von Eccher and Glen Montgomery take the stage. I am thrilled to be collaborating with Magdalena and french horn player, Bill Costin as part of the evenings performances.
