Where do you go when you need healthcare but don't have a family doctor? Navigating the healthcare system can be overwhelming, especially when you are without a family doctor. This course is designed to help laypersons with no previous formal health training understand how several systems in the body work together to make us the dynamic human beings we are. It also discusses what is amiss in specific health conditions affecting those systems and how they can be treated. Examples of topics discussed include heart and vessel disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, arthritis, lung disease and more.
