Hi, due to the extreme heat and subsequent heat warnings, all classes are canceled for this evening. Looking forward to seeing everyone Tuesday and remember to sign up for our summer camp and celebration being held Saturday, August 15th.

On Aug 15th we will have a day full of activities to help celebrate 20 years since we opened the dojo location in the House of Sport.

9 to 9:45 am Kata and self defense applications

9:50 to 1030 review of bogu rules and techniques

10:30 to 12:30 bogu tournament.

12:30 to 2:30 20th anniversary celebration, bbq, fun activities

Cost is $20 per student to help cover medals and food.

Folks, due to the weather forecast for tomorrow (July 22) we will have to cancel our planned Beach workout. We will try again for next Wednesday (July 29).

Reminder that we will have a special beach workout on Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:00pm.

Location is brackley Beach, we will meet outside the change rooms at 6:15 and proceed to beach. Please remember to bring water, towel.

This class is open to all junior and adult students.

Great visit from our friend Andre. A true gentleman who dropped in while traveling from Maleline Island on his way home to Gateneau. He joined in to help with kids class before training with the junior/senior class. Also got to meet his lovely wife.

Truly shows that chito ryu is one big family.

Looking to improve your kumite. Here is a great opportunity to train with some of the best athletes in the region and get instruction from one of the best coaches in canada.

Schedule update

Students, please be advised that starting next week (June 30) the senior class will start at 630. Seniors will train with the junior class until 730 then it will be seniors only from 730 to 830.
