Heads up! As in other years, grads and families can head to Victoria Park before the semi-prom on Friday to take pictures. It's a good chance to capture some memories with a scenic backdrop. You can come between 5:30 - 6:00 pm.

The big night is almost here!! You've worked hard and now it's time to celebrate the friendships, good times and memories from your time at Queen Charlotte Intermediate School. The organizing committee has some guidelines that everyone will please need to follow to ensure the night goes off without a hitch. Please make sure you review these.

• The event includes a dance (DJ’d), games area, photobooth, pizza/drinks, and snacks.
• Admittance to Memorial Hall at Confederation Centre will start at 7pm – please enter through the Amphitheatre.
• Friends and family can watch their grads go into the Amphitheatre, but they are not allowed inside the venue.
• Must be in by 8:30pm – if a student must arrive after that time, arrangements must be made ahead of time or a parent must accompany the student in.
• Once a student leaves the event, they will not be permitted back in.
• No bags will be permitted with the exception of a small bag to hold diabetic supplies/epi-pens/cell phones and these bags will be checked upon entry.
• Any signs of intoxication will result in immediate dismissal (parent will be called and if can’t be reached, police will be next option).
• Va**ng is not permitted on premises. Security will monitor bathrooms.
• Event organizers/volunteers are NOT responsible for students outside of Confederation Centre – drop offs and pickups are to be arranged between student and parent.
• Event ends at 10 pm at which time all students are to leave the premises. It is suggested that parents arrive by 9:45 pm to ensure students are not on the street waiting (again, event organizers/volunteers are NOT responsible for students when they leave).
• Female sanitary products will be provided in the bathroom for those in need.
• A first aid kit will be available on site.
• There will be multiple parent volunteers to help with the event in all areas – if there is something you need while in attendance, please ask one of them!

Friday is an important day because it’s the last chance to purchase tickets for the semi-prom in-person at the school. If your grad doesn’t have a ticket yet, they can buy one for $25 at lunchtime! 💃 🕺 🤟

Shifts:
✨10:00 AM - 12 noon - set-up and decorations (1 spot left)
✨6:30 - 8:30 PM - door, games centre, food station etc. (5 spots left)
✨8:30 - 10:30 PM - door, games centre, food, clean up, etc. (5 spots left)

A message to the parents. We are looking forward to a fun and memorable night for our graduating grade 9-ers. To book the Confederation Centre, we needed to sign a contract. If you could e-transfer your funds early to [email protected] that would be greatly appreciated. Plus, you will receive our early bird pricing!
