It's Pride Month in Canada! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
We lean into Pride a little harder in July here on PEI, but any month is a good month to remember that creating safe and equitable workplaces is a great way to:
🌈 Increase retention
🌈 Diversify products and services to be competitive
🌈 Attract and retain customers and clients
🌈 Develop a great employer reputation
🌈 Encourage unique ideas
🌈 Reduce absenteeism and workplace illness/injuries
Happy Pride!

It's National Accessibility Week in Canada! 📣
This year's theme is "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada," reminding us that we all benefit when everyone has an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
Since the Accessible Canada Act came into force in 2019, significant progress has been made to advance accessibility and disability inclusion in Canada. By continuing to take action together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive and barrier-free Canada for everyone.
Shout out an individual or organization in the comments that is doing a great job of making PEI more accessible!

It's Safety and Health Week in Canada!
With last week's recognition of the National Day of Mourning, there's no better time to reflect on your health and safety policies, procedures and practices in the workplace.
Here's to safer workplaces that help people thrive!
04/28/2026
The National Day of Mourning is a day to remember and honour those lives lost or injured due to a workplace tragedy.
In many places, legislation is being amended psychological and emotional harm at work. Bullying, harassment and intimidation cause harm too, and employers are finding out that they can be held responsible for psychological injuries in the workplace.
Today, and every day, let's improve health and safety in the workplace and commit to preventing further injuries, illnesses and deaths.
