4A and 4B put their knowledge of floating and sinking to the test with a hands-on challenge! Students worked together to design and build a sailboat that could hold the most quarters without sinking.

Terry Fox Run and Pizza Lunch!
*****The Terry Fox run will now be held on Thursday (tomorrow) due to the weather on Friday and the Pizza Lunch will still be on Friday.

We are excited to announce that our school will be participating in this year’s Terry Fox Run for Fun! All students will be taking part in this special event, which will be held on Friday, October 2nd. Our students will be running, walking, or jogging with their classmates in grade-level groups. This is a fun, inclusive way for students to stay active, build community spirit, and contribute to an important cause.

We kindly ask each child to bring a donation of $2 (or more if they wish) to support the Terry Fox Foundation. All funds raised will go directly toward cancer research.

Students are asked to wear their grade colour shirt (the same one they wore on the first day
of school) to show their spirit during the event.

Harmony will also have a pizza lunch provided by Gonflables Chateauguay, as we had won a competition back in June! On Friday, October 2nd , all students will receive one slice of cheese pizza! If you would not like for your child to participate in the pizza lunch, you will have to provide a lunch for your child, as the cafeteria will be closed and there will be no alternative meals provided. A BIG thank you to Gonflables Chateauguay for treating the school to some yummy pizza!

What a great way to kick off the weekend!
