Join us for an information session for parents of students with special needs to learn more about our learning pathways, support programs, and opportunities available both in and beyond high school.
Discover how these programs help students build practical, social, workplace, and life skills while supporting greater independence and confidence in real-life situations.
The session will also include information about adult education opportunities.
Presenting will be Jill Smeall from HSB’s Pathways Program, and Michael Werenchuck from our Huntingdon Adult Education and Community Centre.

🌟 Free 6-Week Language Stimulation Workshop 🌟
Is your child meeting their language milestones? Early support can make a big difference 💬✨
This engaging workshop is designed for 4–5 year olds and their parents to build communication skills together in a fun and supportive environment.
A child may benefit from language stimulation if they are not meeting age-appropriate milestones, such as:
• Difficulty being understood by strangers
• Mixing up languages while learning more than one language
• Poor eye contact
• Frustration when trying to communicate
• Difficulty following simple directions
• Loss of speech or social skills
• Other speech clarity concerns
If any of these sound familiar, this workshop could be a wonderful opportunity for your family.
