Today we commemorated the Day for Truth and Reconciliation by wearing our orange shirts and having an assembly outside. The students had workshops over the last couple of weeks to learn about residential schools. Each student decorated a feather and wrote how children deserve to feel at school. The feathers were put together into a collaborative art display in form of wings. We remember the children who were taken and will continue to learn and be allies.
