Another exciting new partnership to announce!
We have a new face joining us soon!
Read her introduction below 👇🏻

Hi there! My name is Abby, and I am so excited to announce that I will be joining the Saorsa Equestrian Program team in September as a full time riding instructor!

I am 27 and have been working with horses for over 15 years. I have taught at riding schools in both Southern NS and most recently Barrie, Ontario. I have taught students ages 4 to 55 of all experience levels. I have a background in both English and Western, having trained and competed in English/Western Pleasure, English/Western Equitation, Road Hack, Show Hack, Hunter Hack, Trail, Western Horsemanship, Showmanship, Halter, Barrels/Poles, and Show Jumping. I have a 19 year old solid paint mare named Marlie who has been my best friend for over 13 years.

Few things bring me more joy than sharing my love, admiration, and knowledge of horses with my students. I focus hugely on the fundamentals of horsemanship down to its core - my goal isn't only to teach students how to ride but more importantly how to become good, independent, and well rounded horse people.

I will be scheduling in students starting the second week of September. I will have availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays. I will be offering private lesson, semi-private lessons, and group lessons for qualifying students!

Please reach out to Saorsa Equestrian Program or directly to me to sign up and claim your spot ahead of time! I am so looking forward to working at this lovely facility and sharing my passion with you all!

Dogs have always been a part of horse camp.

Way back when Marcia was a kid attending horse camp at Sweets Horse Centre, both Julie and Amy's dogs put in many weeks of camp.

Now Marcia gets to run horse camps with Rubble at her side, and daily visits from Julie's dogs Relic and Jessie!

Many chuck-it balls were thrown over the six days of camp!

Ready for 6 days of crafts and activities with our horse crazy campers!

Sam snapped this photo while feeding the school horses tonight. Only 2 of these horses have the exact same feed and supplements, each one has their own diet and some have medications. But when you set expectations and build a relationship with each one in the herd the way she has, you can feed them together without issue.
Work smarter not harder!

🆘Fellow horse friends; I am on the hunt for some saddles for an activity at camp.
If you have an old saddle that is collecting dust and you want to get it out of your way send it to me!
Broken / damaged is fine these will never be on a horse:s back!

Photo for attention 😂 can be like this or worse (or better) all disciplines accepted!
