We’re just ONE WEEK away from the Community Connections Event on Tuesday, August 25! Join us for an evening packed with community connections, family fun, activities, food and a Movie in the Park!

Carstairs Curling Club & Memorial Park

Connection Fair | 4:30–6:30 PM
Discover the amazing groups that make our community special! Connect with local organizations, service clubs, sports clubs and community groups, find resources and information, and learn about volunteer opportunities.

Meet the Town Machines | 4:30–6:30 PM
Head to the Curling Club parking lot to meet the machines that help maintain our Town. Get up close, meet Town staff and learn more about our Town departments!

Family Fun | 4:30–6:30 PM
Join us in Memorial Park for Fitset Ninja, face painting with Happy Designs, roving jugglers and more!

FREE Hot Dogs | 5:00–6:00 PM
Stop by the Memorial Park concession for a free hot dog!

Movie in the Park | 7:00 PM
We’ll wrap up the evening with GOAT on the big screen! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and settle in for the movie.

Concession Open All Evening
Concession items will be available from 4:30 PM until the end of the movie.

Please consider bringing a donation for the Carstairs Community Food Pantry.

School Supplies – First Day Reminder!

Please send the following supplies with your child on their first day of classes:

Monday/Wednesday Classes

* 1 small pack of paper towel
* 1 package of markers
* 1 duotang with three prongs (any colour)
* 1 package of googly eyes
* 1 small pack of toilet paper

Tuesday/Thursday Classes

* 1 roll of Scotch tape
* 1 duotang with three prongs (any colour)
* 1 small pack of paper towel
* 1 container of Lysol wipes
* 1 bottle of white glue

Thank you for helping us get our classroom ready for a wonderful year of learning!

What to Bring to Playschool!

Here’s a quick reminder of what your child will need each day:

1. Labelled indoor shoes – these will stay at playschool
2. A full change of clothes - including socks, in a labelled Ziploc bag
3. A labelled, non-spill water bottle
4. A small, nutritious snack – fruit, vegetables, yogurt, or cheese & crackers are great options!

Please remember:

No juice boxes - due to limited storage
No nut products of any kind – we are a strictly nut-free facility.

Please dress your child in comfortable, washable play clothes appropriate for the weather.
