Shooting Stars Out of School & Daycare

🌿 NATURE EXPLORERS WEEK! 🌿

What a week!! We leaned ALL the way into nature, creativity, fresh air and good old-fashioned summer fun. 💚

🍃 We made beautiful leaf rubbings that were going to use on our living tree wall - coming soon!

🎨 Painted our own wooden bark pieces that we hung in our community Nature Space (check them out)

🧪 Got messy making our own slime

🚩 Played what felt like approximately 847 rounds of Capture the Flag 😂

🥾 And today we finished the week BIG — walking 5KM around town with a stop at the Nature Space before cooling off at the Splash Park! 💦☀️

There’s just something about summer days spent outside with friends, exploring, creating, running, laughing and making memories together. 🥹

Safe to say our Nature Explorers absolutely crushed it this week! 🌿💚

Now everyone go rest those little legs… because somehow they will all have completely recharged by Monday. 😂🚀

Harry Potter Week cast a pretty magical spell over Shooting Stars! Between our Sorting Hat Ceremony, wand making, spell casting, potion making, and all the other magical mischief, we were having way too much fun to remember to take many pictures.

I’ll admit it… I completely dropped the ball on the photos this week! 🤦‍♀️ But sometimes that’s a good sign. The kids were so engaged, laughing, creating, and using their imaginations that my phone barely left my pocket.

Just know that this week was filled with magic, memories, and plenty of Hogwarts-worthy shenanigans. ⚡️💛

I think we spent maybe 2-3 hours all week inside! ☀️

What a week! Our Water Wars & Beach Week was packed with sunshine, laughter, and some seriously unforgettable memories.

We kicked off the week exploring all things ocean with creative beach-themed crafts, shell patterns, and a park adventure complete with a water scavenger hunt. The fun only grew from there as the kids raced through water balloon and sponge relays, created beautiful sand art, mixed up ocean slime, and cooled off with an epic sprinkler dance party.

As always, our creativity shined through with painted shells, beach bracelets, and imaginative play, while our Mario Kart Water Week Challenge brought out everyone's competitive spirit (and lots of cheering!).🏝️🧽☀️

Today is a pretty special day at Shooting Stars ❤️🎓

A huge congratulations to our two incredible high school graduates! We are so unbelievably proud of you both Miss Teanna and Miss Laura🤩

It feels like just yesterday when we were looking after you both AT daycare as kids... and now somehow you're actual adults. (Who approved that?! 😂) that make us feel incredibly...not old...just older😉

Watching you grow into kind, responsible, hardworking young women has been such a privilege. Our kids adore you, our staff appreciates you, and you've become such an important part of our little Shooting Stars family.

These boys are manifesting some good camping weather for weekends (not just weekdays) as always seems to be the case. 🏕️
