Meadowvale Farm is honoured to host the Ottawa Valley Hunt Hunter Trials this year! Check it out! It’s a great fun show!

The 2026 OVH hunter trials will take place on Saturday, August 22 at Meadowvale Farm in Carp. You don't need to be a hunt member to participate!

The class list has something for everyone starting from leadline, flat classes, jumping classes (individuals', pairs' and teams-of-3) and specialty classes (Champagne Challenge and Handy Hunter) as well as the popular tailgate competition. The show starts at 9 am with schooling from 8 am. Talk to your friends and line up a trailer - registration opens on Aug. 8! See https://ottawavalleyhunt.com/hunter-trials/ for details.

📣 We are looking for class sponsors for each of the classes. This is a great opportunity to increase your visibility within the Ottawa Valley riding community. Class sponsors get their name added to the event and results pages, their name will be announced at the show, as well as included in the social media (4,000+ followers) post and OVH newsletter (1,200+ recipients) about the results. Thank you to everyone who attended our derby today! So many successful rides and smiling faces! We had 86 stadium rounds and 45 cross country rounds & managed to finish ahead of schedule by 2 pm!
A HUGE shout out to all of our volunteers and the volunteer events committee for ensuring everything was looked after and ran smoothly.
If you coached or competed today please feel free to reach out and let us know how you liked the new derby format (stadium rounds followed by a separate cross country) and feel free to post pics in the comments!
